Having started semi-seriously doing my family genealogy, a number of topics have occurred to me that I want to talk about, related in one way or another to what I have been doing. The obvious place to start seems to me to be a description of exactly what it is I'm doing, and how I'm doing it. So these essays begin with how I got started, and progress on to how I am using the Internet in my search for ancestors.
