On Valentine's Day: While February has had chilly days, and gray days, it has also had some lovely ones. I've started revising the original stepping stones to incorporate my pebbling motif. You can see how pathetic the poor geranium looks after weathering the frosts of last month. On the other hand, the bulb bed not only filled with allyssum, the bulbs are starting to sprout. You can compare the previous state of the geranium and the bulb bed HERE.
And After:February turned out to have many nice days, so I finished the redo pebbling and tidied up here and there. By March bulbs were actually beginning to bloom! And the Red, White and Blue theme continues. |
