Plans: May 2007

trellis
Here's where I think I'll put my pretty trellis, with the fond hope that the jasmine can be induced to start growing up it. The hanging chain will be removed. You can just see the plain trellis in the photo to the right, which actually fits the window. And I've laid out where the next batch of stepping stones will go. My lime and new Washington navel orange are planted.

clivia blue
Here's the start of the plans I have for the area under the loquat tree: a planter next to the sidewalk, with Clivia in it. At the front of the area would be some Acanthus, and the ground between the two would be filled with pebbles. The walkway ends just behind the wooden tub, but you could continue on, walking on the pebbles, and passing behind the Acanthus and in front of the tree. This is for the convenience of the mail delivery person, who likes to cut through my yard.
